New Yorkers will argue about pizza until the end of time, but when it comes to burgers, the city now has some serious bragging rights.
A newly released ranking of the World’s 101 Best Burgers placed eight New York spots on its 2026 list, including one West Village newcomer that cracked the global top 10.
The highest-ranked local entry is Sip & Guzzle, which landed at No. 6 worldwide. The cocktail bar has been drawing attention for its over-the-top Miyazaki A5 wagyu burger, a rich creation from chefs Mike Bagale and Isaac Leidenfrost that’s become one of the city’s most talked-about splurges.
