Gov. Landry orders flags to fly half-staff for Shreveport victims

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry has issued an executive order for the flags of the United States and the State of Louisiana to be flown at half-staff in honor and remembrance of the mass shooting victims in Shreveport.

The flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset for eight days in honor of each victim. The schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, May 9 – In remembrance of Jayla Elkins, 3
  • Sunday, May 10 – In remembrance of Shayla Elkins, 5
  • Monday, May 11 – In remembrance of Kayla Pugh, 6
  • Tuesday, May 12 – In remembrance of Layla Pugh, 7
  • Wednesday, May 13 – In remembrance of Markaydon Pugh, 10
  • Thursday, May 14 – In remembrance of Braylon Snow, 5
  • Saturday, May 16 – In remembrance of Khedarrion Snow, 6
  • Sunday, May 17 – In remembrance of Sariahh Snow, 11
