CAF Mile High Wing Adds a North American T-28A “High Maintenance” to Its Fleet

The Commemorative Air Force’s Mile High Wing, Broomfield, CO, has brought a North American T-28A Trojan into its fleet. The aircraft, now called as High Maintenance, is registered as N92TL. It arrived in Broomfield in March 2026, a few months after the CAF acquired it in late 2025. Since then, work has been underway to get it ready for use. That has included early ground school sessions for members, with the longer-term goal of offering ride flights. The CAF has another T-28 in its system, based with the High Sky Wing in Midland, Texas, where it is used to highlight the post-WWII period of military aviation.
