A Waltham city councilor is making it his mission to rectify the city’s rat problem, embodied in recent videos taken by and submitted to NBC10 Boston.
Last week, video shared with us showed more than a dozen rats in a Moody Street parking lot Saturday night, so grossing out the person who took the video that he ended up leaving. Business owners, though, said it it’s been an issue for quite a while, and a frustrating one.
City Coulcilman Paul Katz says he’s more than ready to lead the way on this challenge, bringing up the issue to the Economic and Community Development Committee. He’s already sponsored a resolution that would bring together various departments to tackle the issue…
