Fairport takes down temporary security cameras after weekend fights, neighbors want them back

FAIRPORT, N.Y. — Two weeks ago, two fights broke out in downtown Fairport during the same weekend.

To prevent another fight from breaking out last weekend, the village put up temporary security cameras.

In an email, Village Manager Bryan White told News10NBC’s Tom Kowalski the village put up the mobile security cameras as a temporary and quick response to the fights, aiming to prevent another from breaking out the following weekend. The village has since taken those cameras down…
