IOWA CITY, Iowa — A University of Iowa student critically injured in last month’s Pedestrian Mall shooting has been moved out of the ICU and into a neuroscience unit, according to a family update.
In a update from family on Miranda Peters’ GoFundMe page, they said Peters has opened her eyes, blinked, shown slight eye movement and had slight movement in her right hand and right foot. With assistance, she was also able to sit in a chair.
