SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Springfield cat rescue recently took in a very rare male calico kitten.
Watching Over Whiskers said only 1 in 3,000 cats born with calico markings are male. The shelter said it is the first one they have had since opening 12 years ago. He was a feral stray that got hit by a car.
He is now getting the care he needs and is working on becoming a fully tame cat…
