Man killed in officer-involved shooting on Kellys Ferry Road after domestic assault call, officers involved have been placed on administrative leave as TBI investigates

Tennessee – A man was killed Friday following an officer-involved shooting in the 3200 block of Kellys Ferry Road, according to the Chatanooga Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 10:30 a.m. on May 8, 2026, to a reported domestic assault involving two parties.
