Name Change: New Signage for Children’s Hospital

In January, Kaleida Health changed the name of the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Rooftop signage is proposed to be updated to reflect the new name. The name change was announced last year when B. Thomas Golisano donated $50 million to support the advanced, specialized pediatric care provided at New York State’s only standalone children’s hospital.

The signage requires a variance to allow 335 sq.ft. of signage on each frontage where a maximum 200 sq.ft. is permitted. The rooftop signs are on the north and south facades of the hospital.
