10:30 PM UPDATE: A deputy with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office shot and killed an armed individual after a confrontation that occurred during an investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services.
At a press briefing, Sheriff Michelle Cook said that deputies were dispatched to Pebble Stone Court in Oakleaf Plantation to assist DCF.
