Police search for person in connection with Lexington car theft

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Lexington Police Department is currently looking for a suspect connected with a car theft.

It happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. May 9, when police were called to the 1000 block of Newtown Pike about a stolen vehicle.

Officials told FOX 56 that police found the vehicle via Flock cameras on Walden Drive.

The suspect reportedly fled from the scene on foot.
