By Sara Beth Williams– — The Citrus Heights Water District began nighttime construction activities on westbound Greenback Lane between Birdcage Street and Mariposa Avenue on Wednesday, May 6, as part of the District’s proactiveProject 2030 Water Main Replacement Program.
In a press release, the Water District reported that the project includes installation of a new 12-inch water pipe and restoring pavement within the work area and will be continuing through the summer months overnight.
The construction project has been scheduled in advance of anticipated Greenback Lane improvements identified in the City of Citrus Heights’ 2025-2027 Pavement Restoration Plan to coordinate construction activities across agencies and minimize impacts to the public…
