AKRON, Ohio — Despite a drop in prices here in Northeast Ohio, the average cost for a gallon of gas in Akron and Cleveland remains higher than the national average, according to new data released by GasBuddy early Monday.
Drivers in Akron are now paying an average of $4.68 per gallon after prices dropped 22.7 cents within the last week.
Cleveland’s gas prices have also dipped 11.3 cents, bringing the city’s new average to $4.77. GasBuddy says Cleveland’s prices are currently 90.4 cents higher than a month ago and $1.77 more expensive than a year ago…
