EAST BRAINERD, Tenn. — Flames awoke families in several East Brainerd homes early Monday morning. Everyone got out safe.
This happened near Andover Place a little after 1 a.m., according to a release from the Chattanooga Fire Department.
Responding firefighters could see flames from Jenkins Road and Shallowford Road. Once on the scene, they found a house with flames shooting through the roof.
