MOUNT VERNON, Ala. (WALA) – An Axis man was arrested in connection to a murder that occurred on Saturday, May 9, at a graduation party, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
According to MCSO they responded to the 2600 block of Coy Smith Highway at 10:45 pm in reference to an altercation where shots were fired.
Deputies said they discovered a victim identified as David Sullivan suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Sullivan was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries…
