La Danse Nightclub catches fire in Nashville a week after abrupt closure

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Nashville Fire Department is investigating a fire that sparked in a recently shut-down nightclub in downtown.

The call for a commercial fire came in at about 4:30 a.m. on Monday, and Nashville Fire crews were dispatched to 142 Rosa Parks Boulevard, where they found smoke coming from the building.

Three businesses are located in the building, so firefighters quickly began investigating the source of the smoke once they arrived.

A small fire was found in the back of La Danse Nightclub, and a fire truck crane was used to access the roof to create ventilation…
