A fixture of the North River community has completed a short but significant move. American Honey Creamery and Coffee Co. officially opened its new location at 5015 Moccasin Wallow Road on May 1, positioning itself as a cornerstone of a newly developed plaza.
The move is a short distance from its original home, landing directly across 96th St. E. from the former storefront. The new facility occupies the west end of the shopping center and introduces a major upgrade for the brand: a drive-thru window, which management expects to be operational by the end of May.
Originally founded by sisters Mindy and Ali Converse as a mobile ice cream truck, the business has transitioned into a multi-location operation under new leadership.
