A Eugene man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 at the Highway 58 interchange on May 9.
Richard Delbert Hemminger, 62, was driving southbound on I-5 in a Ford Explorer when he merged onto the Highway 58 offramp and left the eastbound shoulder of the roadway for unknown reasons, according to Oregon State Police officials.
The crash was reported to police just before 4 p.m. The Ford Explorer rolled several times, ejecting Hemminger from the driver’s seat. He was declared dead at the scene…
