Teen driver causes Albany crash that sent car airborne, hit house

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A crash on Western Avenue in Albany left a wide path of damage after police said a 13-year-old was driving a Honda CR-V with five other teens inside.

Neighbors described the wreck May 10 as sudden and severe. Police said the Honda CR-V went out of control, hit a tree, knocked down a for sale sign, tore up lawns and went airborne before stopping against the foundation of a home on Western Avenue.
