A Sunday afternoon in Brownsville turned deadly when an 18-year-old Brooklyn man was shot and killed near Blake Avenue, police said. The victim, identified by authorities as Quahmir Cruz, was struck in the chest just after 3 p.m. in the vicinity of 375 Blake Avenue and was later pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
