MORGANTOWN, Ky. – An Owensboro man is facing charges after fleeing police in Butler County.
According to a uniform citation, a Kentucky State Police trooper was traveling south on Interstate 165 near the 7-mile marker when a car was seen speeding in the northbound lanes. The car was traveling at 104 mph in a 70 mph zone, according to the trooper.
The trooper says he turned around and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the operator continued toward Butler County…
