More homeowners put their houses on the market; median price declines

Free local news and info, in your inbox at 6 a.m. M-F. More houses are hitting the market in Northeast Florida, and prices slid slightly in April, theNortheast Florida Association of Realtors reported Monday.

The median sales price in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties fell 1.3% to $390,000, the Realtors association said.

The number of new listings totaled 2,755, up 1.7% from March. In all, 7,098 single-family homes were for sale, an increase of 10.7% from the month before — but 13.5% less than in April 2025…
