LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Students at a Lansing high school must now put their phones in a locked pouch during the day.
The Lansing School District in April said it would be exploring the use of Yondr phone pouches. The pouches allow students to keep their cellphones with them, but without the ability to use them.

“The positivity from the Sexton staff was contagious,” Benavides wrote. “They welcomed students on Thursday morning with smiles, encouragement, and clear direction. Our students showed up ready and prepared to support the process.”
