LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is waiving adoption fees for some dogs and cats as part of a national effort to help shelter pets find homes.
KHS is joining BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event through May 17. During the event, adoption fees will be waived for all KHS dogs and cats 6 months and older.
The event is celebrating 10 years of Empty the Shelters, which BISSELL Pet Foundation says has helped nearly 400,000 pets find homes across the U.S. and Canada since it began in 2016…
