DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa National Guard will welcome home 109 soldiers Friday in Des Moines after their return from a deployment to the Middle East.
The ceremony will be held at the Des Moines International Airport’s 132d Air Wing facility, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The event is not open to the public.
The 109 soldiers are assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division. They are part of a group of 140 who recently returned safely from the Middle East…
