Monday evening forecast: Dry storms and gusty winds expected

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Heat will build across New Mexico this week with Albuquerque near 91 and Roswell near 98 as dry storms bring gusty winds, lightning and fire concerns.

Warm and dry weather will continue overnight as a strong upper high stays parked over Arizona. A few high-based showers may develop this evening near Ruidoso, Cloudcroft and the Sacramento Mountains.
