FARRAGUT, Tenn. — The mayor of Farragut says he is ‘disappointed’ with what he describes as a lack of communication from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office after the agency closed a precinct in West Knox County months ago.
Mayor Ron Williams said residents and businesses in Farragut deserve a visible law enforcement presence after the sheriff’s office moved out of its Parkside Drive precinct in October 2025.
However, leaders with KCSO said no patrolling zones have changed, and the agency is looking to open a precinct in Cedar Bluff to serve the entire West Knox County area…
