Freedom Festival Parade moving to Hiawatha for the first time in festival history

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The annual Freedom Festival parade will not be held in Cedar Rapids this year for the first time in its history. This year it has been moved to Hiawatha.

The festival has been a yearly tradition for the city since it began in 1984.
