AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Drivers can expect several lane closures and traffic delays this week in Amarillo due to bridgework and barrier movement.
On Monday, May 11, the main lanes of westbound Interstate 40 and the left lane of eastbound I-40 at Business Interstate 40 will be closed for bridgework. Westbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads.
Also Monday, drivers can expect slow-moving traffic on southbound Interstate 27 from Sundown Lane to the U.S. 60/87 direct connect as crews move concrete barriers. That work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon…
