Brazos County prosecutors secure a 20-year sentence for College Station bank robber

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Waller County man accused of robbing a College Station bank at gunpoint has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, according to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office.

The DA’s office says Ondre Green, 25, of Hempstead, pleaded guilty on May 6, 2026, to three counts of aggravated robbery and was also sentenced to the maximum 24 months in a state jail facility for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Prosecutors say Green will not be eligible for parole until he serves at least half of his prison sentence.

The case stems from a robbery reported on Nov. 6, 2020, when College Station police responded to a robbery-in-progress call at First Financial Bank. Witnesses told investigators a man entered the bank with a firearm, demanded money, and threatened employees’ lives.
