Firefighters extinguish vacant house fire overnight in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Firefighters extinguished a vacant house fire in south St. Louis just after midnight on Tuesday.

The fire occurred on Dewey Avenue, just off Meramec Street. Crews found heavy fire coming from the second floor of the vacant home.

Firefighters were able to stop the blaze from spreading to adjacent occupied houses. No one was found inside the home, and no injuries were reported…
