Rising oil prices putting strain on Kansas truck drivers using diesel

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Fuel prices are on the rise across the country, as the war in Iran stretches on with no ends in sight. Truck drivers in Kansas say diesel is reaching a level they’ve never seen before.

Triple A says the average cost of diesel is $5.64 per gallon, and as a result, it’s affecting what you pay for groceries and many other products.

Truck driver Daniel Koger, who was at Newell Truck Plaza in Newton on Monday, said he’s paying double the amount he was before the war started…
