Hilton, Donatucci picked for education performance study committee

A Georgia House of Representatives study committee tasked with looking at how education performance is measured, and how teacher retention can be strengthened, will have two Gwinnett County voice at the table.

Speaker of the House Jon Burns appointed state Reps. Scott Hilton, R-Peachtree Corners, and Sandy Donatucci, R-Buford, to serve on the House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability. The committee will be tasked with evaluating measures used in Georgia to evaluate education performance and identify ways in which accountability, student success and how teacher recruitment and retention can be improved.
