Another day, another teacher deciding school rules were apparently just “suggestions.” This time the spotlight lands on Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old biology teacher from Alexander High School in Douglasville, who was arrested after investigators accused her of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. And according to authorities, this wasn’t a one-time bad decision either.
Police say Nichols allegedly had sexual intercourse with the same student on at least two separate occasions over a two-week period. And somehow, investigators claim one of the locations involved was a classroom closet. Yes, a closet. Apparently the biology lessons were getting way too “hands-on.”
At this point, school closets deserve their own security guards because they keep showing up in stories they absolutely do not need to be part of. Somewhere, a janitor is probably thinking, “Can y’all please just use this room for mops and paper towels like normal people?”…
