MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A now-former Shelby County corrections deputy has been arrested and accused of raping an inmate.
Johnesha Rucker, 28, is charged with rape, sexual contact with prisoners, official misconduct, and forgery.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports that Rucker was hired as a corrections deputy in November 2023.
