SAVANNAH, Ga (WSAV) – Good morning – StormTeam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley here. Let’s have a fabulous Tuesday!
Yesterday’s cold front has stalled out across northern Florida. This will allow for stray showers to move in off and on throughout the day. It also remains cloudy with a peek of sunshine later this afternoon. Today won’t be the prettiest day, but at least it will be cooler! High temperatures will only be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. A big change as our afternoon falls below average and about 20° cooler than our Monday afternoon.
Light rain gradually tapers off tonight. A partly to mostly cloudy sky continues through our Wednesday tomorrow. With more sunshine, temperatures won’t be nearly as cool. Highs will be back around average in the low to mid 80s. Isolated showers and storms pop up ahead of a late-night cold front that will push off the coast early Thursday morning.
Behind the front, sunshine returns! Lovely sunshine moves in for Thursday with temperatures remaining around average. One quick cooldown for Friday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Otherwise, sunshine continues into the weekend. It is going to feel more like summer by Sunday and Monday as a warming trend increases our afternoon temperatures into the upper 80s to low 90s…
