SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Syracuse Police Department, city leaders, loved ones and community members gathered Monday morning for the annual Fallen Heroes ceremony in Forman Park. The event comes just two days after three Syracuse officers were injured in the line of duty.
The ceremony, which acknowledges officers who have died on duty, was held by the department during National Police Week.
