HILLSBORO, Mo. – An Affton, Missouri, man has been ordered to appear in Jefferson County Circuit Court next month for allegedly stealing thousands in merchandise from a local Walmart store.
According to the Crystal City Police Department’s probable cause statement, the thefts happened between April 15 and June 16, 2025.
Police said Matthew T. Kadera would go shopping, select merchandise, and then go to the self-checkout area. Kadera would only ring up some of the items but leave with everything in his cart.
