CLAYTON, Mo. – A Las Vegas man is believed to be hiding in Chicago and won’t return a child to his mother who lives in St. Louis County, according to law enforcement.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Edaz Redden with child abduction. A county circuit court judge signed a warrant for Redden’s arrest on May 8. The warrant carries a $20,000 cash-only bond.
According to the Hazelwood Police Department’s probable cause statement, Redden has had the child since February, when county judge awarded custody to the child’s mother. A court in Nevada later ruled that the state of Missouri had jurisdiction over the matter…
