CHEVERLY, Md. — A woman is dead after police say an argument took a violent turn in Prince George’s County Tuesday morning.
Cheverly Police Department officers were called to a home in the 6200 block of Monroe Street for a report of a domestic dispute between a woman and her adult son around 9:30 a.m. When they got there, they found an 85-year-old woman with stab wounds. The officers and other emergency personnel tried to save the woman’s life, but could not. She died at the scene, police said.
The woman’s 54-year-old son was at home when officers arrived, and was taken into custody without incident…
