AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Caprock High School Senior Alyssa Graves is ready to walk across the stage.
Since being at Caprock, Graves has earned several academic and athletic awards, in addition to being active in several organizations including NHS, NTHS and being a Superintendent Scholar. Graves shared it is bittersweet knowing her time Caprock is coming to an end.
“We’re never gonna be in a classroom with all our friends again and it’s gonna be a different change but it’s like a change I’m looking forward to,” said Graves.

After graduating from CHS, Graves plans on attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she plans to major in nursing and play soccer. Graves shared her experience balancing being a student athlete has prepared her to take this next step in her academic and athletic career…
