Dallas (KDAF) — Thousands of cyclists are expected to roll through downtown Dallas this weekend as the 2026 Dallas Bike Ride returns with major street closures impacting several neighborhoods and thoroughfares Saturday morning.
The annual event, billed as the city’s only car-free social ride, will take place Saturday, May 16, beginning at 8 a.m. Organizers expect approximately 5,000 riders to participate in the family-friendly event, which features a 20-mile course winding through some of Dallas’ most recognizable districts and landmarks.
The ride will temporarily close streets to vehicle traffic along portions of downtown Dallas, Uptown, the Bishop Arts District and the Design District as cyclists travel the route.
