Quintayvious Hutchins, a New England Patriots draft pick from Boston College, has been charged with an assault at a dorm on campus, according to court documents.
Hutchins, 23, of Needham, is charged with misdemeanor assault and battery on a family or household member for an alleged incident on Tuesday at Voute Hall on Commonwealth Avenue in Chestnut Hill.

According to a Boston College police report filed with the criminal complaint, officers were called to the fourth floor of the dorm just before 8 p.m. Tuesday “for a male and female fighting in the hallway.”
