Ball Python apprehended by Westlake police for ‘unwanted slithering’

WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) – A cold-blooded suspect was on the loose in Westlake, police confirmed, but officers caught it no-handed… because it’s a snake.

Westlake police said the department got a complaint of “unwanted slithering” on Monday.

Deputies quickly spotted the “suspect” matching the scaly description, and made the “apprehension.”

It turned out to be a Ball Python, which is a non-venomous snake…
