The Cumberland County Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Arrica Moseley DuBose as the new assistant superintendent of Cumberland County Schools (CCS) Curriculum and Instruction during its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 12, following the recommendation of Superintendent Dr. Eric C. Bracy.
Dr. DuBose currently serves as the executive director of Elementary Curriculum & Instruction and Federal Programs for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, where she leads districtwide efforts focused on curriculum, instructional improvement, school performance and federal programs.
With more than 24 years of experience in education, she began her career in Durham Public Schools as a teacher and later served as a Title I Middle School Improvement Specialist and Parent Involvement Coordinator.
