ROANE COUNTY, TN — District Attorney General Russell Johnson says his office will not file charges against an officer connected to a recent incident, saying the matter falls outside his jurisdiction.
Johnson said the alleged incident occurred in Knox County, not in Roane County.
“I cannot charge something that happened at Spencer’s in West Town Mall in Knox County,” Johnson said. “No, I’m not prosecuting that officer. I do not have jurisdiction.”…
