‘Remarkable work’ | East Tennessee fire crew honored after saving man’s life

POWELL, Tenn. (WVLT) – A crew with Rural Metro Fire has been honored after saving a man’s life last month.

According to Rural Metro, Squad 236 in Powell responded to what appeared to be a routine call that turned out to be anything but on April 23.

When crews responded to the call, they believed it was about a man who was injured from a fall, but when they arrived on the scene, they found the man was in cardiac arrest and not breathing…
