Lancaster County sheriff announces retirement

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster County Sheriff Chris Leppler will retire this summer after more than three decades in law enforcement.

The county says Leppler will retire on July 10, and Chief Deputy Sheriff Marc Shaffer will be sworn in as Leppler’s successor.
