(KRON) — Robbers stole from a jewelry kiosk inside Sunvalley Mall on Wednesday afternoon, the Concord Police Department said. Officers received a call around 12:16 p.m. about reports of gunshots inside the mall, but that ended up being a robbery instead. No gunshots were fired.

Jewelry cases at the Piercing Pagoda kiosk were smashed (picutred below) by four unknown suspects who were wearing hooded sweatshirts, gloves and armed with hammers. Concord police said the suspects stole an unknown amount of jewelry.

The employee working the kiosk was pepper-sprayed but did not sustain further injuries, police said. As of Wednesday afternoon, the suspects remain at large.
