SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A line of severe thunderstorms moved across Central New York Wednesday afternoon and evening between 3 and 7 PM.
While many suburbs, towns and villages only experienced pouring rain, thunder, lightning, gusty winds and a some pea-sized hail, others experienced some trees down and larger hail.
Here’s a look at reports so far from Onondaga County from 4:30 PM to 6 PM Wednesday:
Now Cayuga County experienced the storms even earlier than here in Syracuse:
Earlier in the day the storms were rapidly developing across the Finger Lakes causing damage as well:
